it's interesting, if not slightly (not morbid, but more like a doomsday prediction) to think about who you're going to be friends with in 10 years, and who you won't talk to anymore. i'm not exactly preoccupied with trying to figure out who is and isn't going to be there in 10 years, and then rooting out all the ones i don't think'll be there in 10 years. but it's just very interesting to think about it. just for a second, though, otherwise i start to get sad.

melbourne '16
These photos are from when I went to Melbourne in February of 2016. I've been completely swamped with work at school and have been supposedly spending all my time doing said work (this of course, is not entirely true). But I wanted to keep this blog at least semi-regularly updated, so here are some photos!
The pictures were taken on a disposable I had bought online. It was 10$, and this was back when I wasn't saving, so I thought why not? It expired in 2006, and therefore everything is very grainy and faded. I knew there would be something different about the photos when I was taking them, but I never expected the final result! I've grown to like it though - it's a very different look to many of my previous disposables and I really enjoy the vintage summer feel the photos have.
sunset at st. kilda, we stopped on the side of a busy road to take pictures which in hindsight was not a good idea!
in the safety of the car i took more pictures. it was a brilliant sunset, made up of gorgeous hues of blue, purple and pink.
the wei wei/warhol exhibition at the national gallery of victoria (NGV) was absolutely incredible. this was on the facade of the museum.
ai wei wei's 'forever bicycles' (2015), an installation made up of 1,500 bicycles!!
i have no idea what this is. i tried, but i have no clue.
flinders street station at sunset.
graffiti at hosier lane.
view of the city from the balcony of the NGV @ fed square.
sunflowers at shoreham - where we spent the most delightful saturday.
the view of the ocean from shoreham. to die for,
